Getting the Heat Right (Without the Glare)

The Setup

The Trade-offs

If you step out of the “beam,” you’re going to feel the chill again. Because of that, you have to be smart about where you put them. If you’re heating a gazebo, space them out based on how high your ceiling is so you don’t end up with “cold spots.” And for heaven’s sake, don’t hang them too low—unless you want to accidentally melt something or overheat the floor.
