The problem is, that warm air often just pushes moisture right up against your cold walls, which is basically an invitation for mold to move in. Our lamps work differently. They use short-wave infrared radiation. Instead of heating the air, the energy goes straight into the wet tiles and grout. It hits those water molecules and forces them to evaporate fast. Once that moisture is in the air, your vent fan can actually do its job and pull it out of the room. It keeps your walls dry and stops mold from ever getting a foothold.
Built for the Steam
Water and electricity don’t mix. It’s the fastest way to fry a heating element. That’s why we built these to IP65 standards. In plain English? The seals are tight. Dust and water jets can’t get inside. You can put these in the steamiest bathroom you’ve got without worrying about a short circuit. We also use high-purity quartz glass for the bulbs. We did this so the heat passes right through the glass and hits your walls, rather than getting trapped in the lamp housing.
A Quick Heads-Up on Installation
Here is the thing: these lamps put out a lot of heat. That’s why they kill the damp so well, but it means you have to be careful where you put them. If you squeeze these into a tight recessed ceiling without enough breathing room, you might actually scorch your drywall. Before you start drilling, just double-check your clearance. Give the fixtures some space to breathe, and you’ll be all set.
